Fix Washed Out Color in Windows Screenshots on Chrome

Introduction:

Screenshots are part of my daily life, as I regularly need to capture figures for my research. Unfortunately, I sometimes have problems capturing all the colors when taking screenshots in Chrome. This is a guide on how to show off what you want with minimal extra work on your end.

Step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Enter the following URL into your browser:

chrome://flags/#force-color-profile

Step 2: Select “sRGB” instead of the default on the force colour profile option.

Step 3: Take your screenshot.

Step 4: Change back to default once you are done.
